What should I put on the bottom of my birds cage?

Many people like to use newspaper; which I don't understand because it creates such a mess. I found a great product from Doctors Foster & Smith that I love. They are cage liners. Birds are a lot like kids, they get bored very easily and require a lot of stimulation. For this purpose, you should invest in many toys.
